Grading Policy
There are primarily two types of scores students will earn on assignments in my class:
- rubric scores
- percentages
Rubric Scores: a {check} or 3 = Meets grade level standards/expectations
Demonstrates understanding of and ability to apply knowledge and skills associated with college content readiness (taught to date).
4 or {plus} = Thoroughly (exceeded expectations)
3 or {check} = Adequately (achieved expectations)
2 or {minus} = Partially (more time needed to achieve expectations)
1 or {zero} = Minimally (showed little or no evidence that expectations were achieved)
Percentages:
93-100% A = Superior
90-92% A-
87-89% B+
83-86% B = Above Average
80-82% B-
77-79% C+
73-76% C = Average
70-72% C-
67-69% D+
63-66% D = Below Average
60-62% D-
0-59% F = Unsatisfactory
